VI. ПРАВИЛА АТТЕСТАЦИИ СТУДЕНТОВ ПО ДИСЦИПЛИНЕ

Содержание зачета (1 семестр):

Максимальное количество баллов, набранных за работу в течение первого семестра, составляет 81 балл. На самом зачете студент добирает за семестровые итоговые работы 25 баллов. Для успешной сдачи зачета студент должен заработать 106 баллов. Студент, набравший менее половины баллов, считается зачет не сдавшим.

Максимальное количество баллов, набранных за работу в течение второго семестра, составляет 81 балл. На экзамене за второй семестр студент добирает за итоговые работы 25 баллов. Общее количество баллов в сумме составит 106.

Максимальное количество баллов за работу по курсу в течение первого и второго семестра составляет 162 баллов. С учетом итоговых работ за первый и второй семестры (50 баллов) для получения отличной оценки за весь курс студент должен набрать 212 баллов. Студент, набравший менее половины баллов, получает неудовлетворительную оценку.

It sells bread, milk and cigarettes. But Shop 24 is not a good place to talk to the shopkeeper – because there isn’t one.

Shop 24 is a new idea for shopping in the UK. It’s a very big vending machine, the size of a shop. It’s open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Is this the future of shopping? We tried it. Our shopping list: eggs, milk, brown bread, ham, toilet roll, fresh coffee, aspirin, vegetables, chocolate. It starts well. Shop 24 has eggs and milk. There are toilet rolls, aspirin, and lots of chocolate. But there is only white bread and there isn’t any ham. There are no fresh vegetables and there is no fresh coffee.

I press the buttons to make our order. A big mechanical hand moves across the window. It picks up a box of eggs and drops it onto the shelf. The arm moves left and right collecting our order. It’s fun to watch, better than normal shopping.

Then, disaster: the eggs are broken and the door closes before I can take my shopping out. Sandy is watching. He started Shop 24. He read about a shop like this in Belgium. Now there are two Shop 24s in town, and he hopes to introduce fifty more in the UK.

We finish our shopping in a local shop. It’s much better than Shop 24 but it isn’t open twenty-four hours a day. We ask the cashier about the new vending machine shop. “I think people will use it late at night. But people don’t really like technology. Most people would prefer to talk to a face.”

You are going to read an article about Sonja Henie, a world-famous ice skating star. For questions 1-5 choose the best answer, A, B or C.

(1) Sonja Henie was born in 1912 in Oslo, Norway. She started to skate when she was 5 years old. At age 9, Sonja won her first skating competition. Her family decided that Sonja should start to train seriously. Her father helped her, and she won her first national championship. Sonja was only 11 years old when she represented Norway in the Olympics in 1924. She finished in last place, but she got a lot of attention because she was so young. Between 1917 and 1936, Sonja Henie won a total of 1,473 awards.

(2) Henie had a very strong influence on women’s figure skating. For example, she introduced music and choreography to skating and added glamour to it. Women skaters used to wear long, dark dresses, but Henie wore beautiful, short, white costumes.

(3) After she became a professional in 1936, Henie moved to Hollywood. She appeared in several movies, and she skated in all of them. Everyone wanted to see her movies because they were spectacular. Henie skated in ice shows also. She went on a world tour with the ice shows, and the performances were always sold out. Sonja Henie was a great success.

4) Henie was also a tough businesswoman. She made sure no one cheated her in her movie contracts or her ice shows At age 26, she was a millionaire and became the richest athlete of her time.

(5) Henie worked hard for her money. When she worked on a film, she got up at 5 o’clock, worked for 12 hours, came home, had dinner, and went to bed early. When she was on tour, she stayed up all night and slept half the day. Her diet was mainly raw eggs and raw beef with few vegetables.

(6) In 1968, Henie and her third husband opened an art center outside of Oslo. Fourteen months after the center opened, Sonja Henie died of cancer at the age of 57.
