Future plan

Task 2 has been almost finished except the Information Strategy; Thomas should keep in contact with JP. Houix and the IS should be ready to be sent by the beginning of the January. Task 2.3: Information Strategy to be provided by the end of November.

Task 3: Data identification and elaboration of meta-data catalogue

Thomas to make a paper about information available by the working group by the beginning of January. Data available by the users is usually not reliable (E, Titova). JP. HOUIX to send the subset of the ISO on metadata Only a draft of the information strategy will be attached to the January report and finalised during the next meeting for project implementation (23^th - 27^th of January).

Task 3.1: local expert will gather metadata according to a scheme provided by EU expert;

Task 3.5: Local expert and sub-contractors.

Data catalogue will be discussed during next meeting. Task 3: visit in France to see how metadata are used in France.

To be discussed in working group.

Task 5: Environmental assessment and reporting for decision-making

Study visit in May in Finland to deal with indicators. Turku will take part in this phase to assist in building environmental indicators.

5.3 Relational database: Finland, local experts, and EU experts;

5.4 Targeted information: all partners.

Task 6: Training

Training to be conducted in June.

Task 6.1: Meta-information systems (MIS);

Task 6.2: GIS and Information tools;

For the training session a draft user manual should be prepared.

Terms of references to be prepared as soon as possible; with two proposals from different companies at least. Make terms of Reference for 8,000 euros and metadata elaboration. Transfers should be split into 2 transfers of less than 5,000 euros each. No advance payment should be foreseen at all. Foresee 2 tasks.

Get information from CEBANOR to know how and when they can participate; in case it's not possible, ask authorisation to use money for Hamburg travel.

Next Steering Committee will take place in beginning of 3^rd-7^th July 2006. All participants should provide by that time all expenses proves and required documents requested for the interim report.
