Требования к уровню подготовки выпускников

В результате изучения английского языка на базовом уровне в старшей школе ученик должен:

Знать/понимать

  1. значения новых лексических единиц, связанных с тематикой данного этапа обучения и с соответствующими ситуациями общения; в том числеоценочной лексики, реплик-клише речевого этикета, отражающих особенности культуры страны /стран изучаемого языка;

  2. значение изученных грамматических явлений в расширенном объеме (видовременные, неличные и неопределенно-личные формы глагола,формы условного наклонения, косвенная речь / косвенный вопрос, побуждение и др., согласование времен);

  3. страноведческую информацию из аутентичныхисточников, обогащающую социальный опытшкольников: сведения о стране / странах изучаемого языка, их науке и культуре, историческихи современных реалиях, общественных деятелях,

месте в мировом сообществе и мировой культуре, взаимоотношениях с нашей страной, языковые средства и правила речевого и неречевого поведения в соответствии со сферой общения и социальным статусом партнера.

Уметь

Говорение

вести диалог, используя оценочные суждения,в ситуациях официального и неофициального общения (в рамках изученной тематики);

беседовать о себе, своих планах; участвовать в обсуждении проблем в связи с прочитанным / прослушанным иноязычным текстом, соблюдая правила речевого этикета;

писать личное письмо, заполнять анкету, письменно излагать сведения о себе в форме, принятой в стране / странах изучаемого языка, делатьвыписки из иноязычного текста;

Использовать приобретенные знания и умения в практической деятельности и повседневной жизни для:

общения с представителями других стран, ориентации в современном поликультурном мире;

• получения сведений из иноязычных источников информации (в том числе через Интернет),

необходимых в образовательных и самообразовательных целях;

• расширения возможностей в выборе будущей профессиональной деятельности;

• изучения ценностей мировой культуры, культурного наследия и достижений других стран;

ознакомления представителей зарубежных стран культурой и достижениями России

Контрольно – измерительные материалы

Контрольно-измерительные материалы даны в учебнике Биболетовой М.З. «EnjoyEnglish» и рабочей тетради в конце каждого раздела в виде лексико-грамматического теста в рубрике «ProgressCheck».

Хотя контроль сформированностилексической стороны речифактически происходит на каждом уроке при выполнении подготовительных и речевых упражнений, однако в рубрике «ProgressCheck» обязательно представлены специальные тесты для проверки владения некоторыми лексическими единицами, входящими в обязательный словарный запас данного урока.

Контроль за формированиемграмматических навыков также осуществляется как в ходе ежедневной практики на уроке (то есть с использованием обычных упражнений подготовительного и речевого характера), так и с помощью специальных тестовых заданий, предусмотренных в разделе «ProgressCheck».

Контроль навыков аудированиятекстов на английском языке также предусмотрен в учебнике. Тексты для аудирования построены в основном на известном детям лексико-грамматическом материале, но допускается содержание в них небольшого процента незнакомых слов. Чем раньше учащиеся столкнуться с такими текстами, тем лучше будет формироваться умение воспринимать английскую речь на слух. Длительность звучания текста для аудирования не превышает 3-5 минут в нормальном темпе в исполнении носителей английского языка.

Контроль сформированности навыков чтения предусматривает различные послетекстовые задания:

- ответы на вопросы;

- выбор правильного варианта окончания данного предложения из предложенных;

- поиск верной\неверной информации и т.д

4. Read the text and write whether the sentences are true or false.
Debates about education will never end. Some people consider our educational system to be close to perfect; others say that it is too hard and that it is unnecessary to study all the school subjects.

In Russian schools children have to study about 15—17 subjects — not more and not less, as they are required. Very rarely do schools have in the schedule special or professional subjects. In the United States, drama, journalism and photography are as important as chemistry and history. In our schools the curriculum is strict. In the USA you can choose what to study; but government, history, English and math are compulsory. There are also a number of subjects, like geography, chemistry, physics, biology and computer classes, that you have to take during a year or a half-a-year during your high school years. You can also take one of these subjects at an advanced level. A program of chemistry at the advanced level of a graduate class is common with our 9th grade programme. In Russia we can't study management or TV-production at school.

Such democracy in choosing subjects according to your own preferences makes school life easier and calmer. American students don't usually have much homework — half an hour of homework is too much for them. On the other hand, they have holidays only twice a year, and their summer vacations are only two and a half months long, while our children don't study in the summer at all. Americans study at school for 12 years, while we study only 11. So it is very hard to say which the best way of studying is.

11. As we know, approximately fifty years ago television was introduced, making the world

smaller by bringing images from all four corners of the world into our homes. Over the

last decade or so, a breakthrough in technology has come into our lives which is making

the world even smaller: the Internet. With a PC and a telephone line, we are now

14. The Internet not only means that we can communicate with loved ones but also with

complete strangers. By using “chat” services, it is possible to meet and exchange ideas

with people from all over the world. It is sometimes unbelievable to think that the person

we are writing to may be thousands of miles away, living in a completely different culture

with a way of life that is nothing like our own. Of course, to be able to do this, we must

speak the same language and that’s why most communication on the Internet takes place

in English.

of pleasure for many people is the ability to download songs and music from other

people. This has also helped to bring down cultural barriers as we are able to hear all the
