Summary: The contemporary complex characteric of the skin basal cell carcinoma (SBCC), one of the most frequent neoplasm, is present. The clinical course of the SBCC strongly depends on the topographic form, proliferative activity and stromal reactions. The prognostic value of these morphological markers is discussed.
