C. Герундий
The Gerund
Герундий – неличная форма глагола, обладающая признаками глагола и существительного. Образуется посредством прибавления окончания –ing к основе глагола.
Герундий имеет следующие формы:

The Mining Institute of St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg Mining Institute is the first higher technical educational institution in Russia, that celebrated its 230-th anniversary in 2003. Despite its venerable age the Mining Institute is a dynamically advancing educational institution, that trains specialists which can master the state-of-the-art technologies in the areas of geology survey, exploration and fields development, as well as ore dressing and metallurgical processing of the minerals.
