1. Introduction
Course «Quality management in the industry» is intended to deepen and concretization of knowledge in the field of quality management based on industry-specific functioning of the enterprises and organizations of various sectors of the economy.

The main purpose of studying discipline «Quality management in the industry» stands mastering theoretical knowledge specifics of quality management in individual branches of material production and the practical skills to build quality management system considering sectoral peculiarities.

The objectives of the study of the discipline « Quality management in the industry» are:

  • the study of the theoretical foundations of the existence and functioning of the sphere of material production;

  • to determine the characteristics of products made in each of the races under consideration of material production;

  • consideration of the problems of modern quality management in enterprises of different industries;

  • study of the organizational structure of quality management at the institutional and national level within a particular industry;

  • mastering the skills of the research state of the organization in the field of quality management , based on the SWOT-analysis ;

  • the acquisition of practical skills in drafting a quality management system in the company on the basis of industry-specific studies of its activity;

  • identify areas of the company to improve the quality.

Guidelines for the study of THE COURSE The study of discipline is organized in eight sections-modules: the nature of the material production; quality management of production of mechanical engineering; quality management in automotive industry; quality management at the enterprises of food industry; quality management in the electricity and telecommunications; quality management in construction; quality management at agricultural enterprises; modern systems of management of a sustainable development. The discipline provides for the implementation of practical tasks of classroom and independent) research and analysis in nature, learning situations during practical classes, business games and trainings. For the control of mastering of the material studied uses the collective discussion of the results and a final exam. When teaching the discipline in each section of the course and singles out the most important points and focuses the attention of the trainees.
